Women in the World of Violence: Wars, Revolutions, Terrorism, Extremism, 2-3 April 2009

A conference organised by the Centre for Baltic and East European Studies (CBEES), Södertörn University, Stockholm.

Location: Room MB503, Södertörn University, Flemingsberg

The purpose of this conference is to gather researchers in Humanities and Social Sciences interested in topics relating to the female participation in violence and female attitudes towards violence in different historical periods in different parts of Europe. Topics connected to women's participation in wars, revolutions, terrorist and extremist organizations as well as those dealing with women's activities in peace movements are to be discussed.

Deadline for abstracts: 15 February 2009.
