Samtidshistoriska institutet välkomnar regelbundet gästforskare från svenska och utländska universitet.

2010

Carl Marklund från Helsingfors universitet i Finland var gästforskare vid SHI under september.

I november besöker Marco Caligari från Ca' Foscari-universitetet i Italien SHI.

 

2009

Forskarutbyte med Università Ca' Foscari, Italien

I januari-februari vistades doktorand Andrea Franco vid SHI.

Under augusti-september gästas SHI av professor Alberto Masoero. Den 31 augusti arrangeras ett seminarium på temat "The notion of ‘Kolonizatsia’ in Late Imperial Russia. Foreign Colonial Models within the Tsarist Culture" där professor Masoero berättar om sin forskning. Läs mer

Under september månad besökte professor Michele Cangani SHI. Under hans vistelse arrangerades ett seminar på temat "The present crisis and potential transformations of the liberal system in the light of Polanyi's writings on the crises of the 1930s."

Alessandro Milani, doktorand, var gästforskare vid SHI under oktober och november. Milanis forskning handlar om "The Second Polish Republic and its eastern neighbors: annexation or (con)federation?". Han presenterade delar av sin forskning vid ett seminarium i november.

Camilla Costa, doktorand, besöker SHI under tre veckor i december. Hennes forskning handlar om "Governance tools for the competitiveness of the Veneto metropolitan area".

Andrea Franco, doktorand, besökte SHI i januari/februari 2009 och kommer tillbaka en vecka i december. Franco forskar om olika aspekter på Ukrainas historia.

 

Gästforskare från andra lärosäten:

I februari gästades Samtidshistoriska instiutet av docent Andrew Vandenberg, Deakin University i Australien.

Daniela Kroos, doktorand från universitetet i Bremen, Tyskland är gästforskare vid SHI under två veckor, 30 november-14 december. Kroos forskning handlar om den svenska polisens personalpolitik. 

Monica Quirico, fil dr i Statsvetenskap vid universitetet i Turin, Italien, gästar SHI i en vecka i december.

 

2008 

SHI gästades av Monica Quirico, University of Turin, Italien, under tre månader 2007/2008. 

Presentation:

Monica Quirico, PhD in History of Political Ideas and Institutions, works at the University of Turin, Italy (Dep. of Political Studies).
Her main interests are: Italian and British liberalism and Swedish history and politics.
She has published, apart from several articles and contributes to books, 2 books, in italian: Collectivism and totalitarianism. Hayek and Michael Polanyi (1930-1950), Milano, FrancoAngeli, 2004; Socialism in the face of Reality. Swedish model (1990-2006), Roma, Editori Riuniti, 2007.
She has got a scholarship from Svenska Institutet for a 3-months research-project on Ernst Wigforss and industrial/economic democracy from the 1920s to the 1940s.

 

Forskarutbyte med Università Ca' Foscari, Italien

Under hösten 2008 inleddes ett forskarutbyte med Università Ca' Foscari i Venedig, Italien.  Inom ramen för forskarutbytet gästades SHI under hösten av professor Giovanni Dore, samt doktorand Irene Palombo.

 

2007

Under 2007 var Kristina Boreus, statsvetenskap Stockholms universitet, gästforskare vid SHI. 

 

I februari 2007 gästades vi av fil. dr Andrew Scott från RMIT University i Australien.

I mars 2007 gästades vi av docent Andrew Vandenberg från Deakin University i Australien.

Vandenberg säger så här om sin tid vid SHI: "During March, 2007, I spent some of my research sabbatical at the Institute for Contemporary History, Södertörn University College and I can heartily recommend it to anyone interested in visiting Sweden. [...]"

Gästdoktorander/Forskarskoleutbyte

Samtidishistoriska institutet ingår i ett forskarskoleutbyte i samarbete med nio andra lärosäten i Europa "Building on the past: European Doctorate in the Social History of Europe and the Mediterranean"

Varje år gästas Södertörns högskola av doktorander från olika lärosäten i Europa inom ramen för detta samarbete.
